Family Home, Camden. A house extension and renovation for a private client undertaken while working with Barnaby Gunning This listed building in the Primrose Hill conservation area had been split into several bedsits with numerous ad-hoc internal partitions and a cramped, yet intrusive, full height rear extension. The key to unlocking the original spaces lay in the design of a sinuous, looping rear extension clad in strips of British oak. The project was the winner of a 2008 Camden Design Award.
